Gridx is an electric pre-paid smart meter and Wi-Fi router targeted at solving smart metering and internet penetration problems in Africa. The device integrated smart metering capabilities with telecommunication technologies to allow for homes to have Wi-fi access through wireless technologies such as 4G, 3G, and fiber to the home (FTTH).
